Dr. Ruggiero Attends Syntonics Conference
Dr. Ruggiero recently attended the 83rd annual conference for the College of Syntonic Optometry held in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Syntonics is also known as Optometric Phototherapy and is a therapeutic intervention that is aimed at restoring balance within the autonomic nervous system. This treatment is available at our practice and can be administered as an adjunct to other forms of treatment or as a freestanding therapeutic application. Optometric Phototherapy is appropriate to consider for many conditions including but not limited to post concussive syndrome, binocular dysfunction and ocular motor dysfunction.
While at the conference, Dr. Ruggiero learned the principles and application of kinesiology and is seen in this photo practicing the technique.
