Dr. Ruggiero Speaks at Springfield College
Dr. Ruggiero recently spoke at the annual Springfield College Pediatrics Conference, which is hosted by the Departments of Occupational and Physical Therapy.
In her presentation, titled, “Can You See Me? Children’s Vision and Vision Development,” she discussed the developmental model of optometry, as well as normal visual development, the eye-brain connection and visual information processing. She also detailed some of the most common visual dysfunctions in children, along with their symptoms and treatment options.
